The Mariner Hotel is situated on Great Western Road, just 5 minutes from Aberdeen city centre and 15 minutes from the Airport and Exhibition Centre. There are a number of shopping centres in the city. The Bon-Accord Centre is the largest and is on St Nicholas Street/George Street. Many shops are located there, including Boots, Woolworth's, and John Lewis. Other shopping centres are The St Nicholas Centre and the Trinity Centre. The Aberdeen Academy building houses some of the more exclusive shops.
